KZNCU employee receives National Awards

The Kwazulu Natal Cricket Union is proud to congratulate Ritesh Ramjee, KFC Mini Cricket and Schools Coordinator, for being awarded the KFC Mini Cricket Co-ordinator of the Year award and KFC Mini Cricket Coach/Administrator of the Month.

The KFC Mini Cricket Seminar is an annual event where KFC mini cricket coaches and administrators from around the country collectively meet to discuss and improve the program of mini-cricket. This year’s seminar, arranged by Cricket South Africa and KFC, took at place in the Mpumalanga province.

Commenting on the awards, Jay Naidoo the Amateur Cricket Manager said “This is due recognition for Ritesh’s hard work and commitment to the KFC Mini cricket programme. We are proud of his achievement.

Jay continued to say that this award is a testimony of the hard work done by all the teachers and volunteers within the programme in the province.

A total of 160 delegates were part of this seminar this year where everyone was given the opportunity to interact and share strategies’ to grow the game of cricket across the country and build the cricketing future in South Africa.

“Being named the KFC Mini Cricket coordinator of year is a significant accomplishment in my career in the Sporting Industry; it also confirms that all the hard work and effort I put in over the past 11 months has been worthwhile”, commented Ritesh.

Ritesh was presented with a signed Protea's team shirt and a Protea's autographed bat in recognition of this achievement.
