GENERAL
On Day 1, boys must report to the Kearsney College Cricket Pavilion for registration at 07h30. At this registration, the following must be handed to their manager:
- Player levy = R250
- Stats form
- Copy of ID or Birth Certificate
- A light lunch will be served to all boys.
- Boys to bring their own drinks and refreshments.
- Any boy who cannot attend this trial for any reason, needs to contact Dean Moodley by Wednesday 14th September 2011.

TEAM ANNOUNCEMENTS
Date: 7th October 2011

Venue: DHS
Time: 17h30 (5:30pm)
All teams to assemble at DHS after their games on Friday 7th October.
STATS
- Please fill in the stats on the proper stats form. No stats, no selection!
- No club stats if you play schools cricket. Club stats can only be used if a boy does not play schools cricket.
- All stats forms must be signed by the relevant people.
- Only 2011 stats please. No 2010 stats!
PLAYER LEVY
- The player levy this year is R250. This covers the costs of umpires, managers, lunches, fields, balls, photocopying and other admin costs.
- The levy must be paid in CASH! No cheques will be accepted.
- No Pay, No Play!!
- This must be paid on Day 1 (Sunday 18th September)
PLAYER CODE OF CONDUCT
- This is a normal schools tournament so normal school rules apply.
- Boys must shave.
- Boys must have a proper haircut. No fancy hairstyles and hair colours will be tolerated. Boys who have not had a proper haircut, will not be permitted to participate in the trials process.
- No jewellery must be worn by any boy, including chains, rings, piercings and tongue rings.
- Boys must sit with the team and not with their parents. Boys may see and talk to their parents before and after the game but not while the game is still in progress. Any urgent communication must talk place with the permission of the manager.
PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT
- Parents are encouraged to support their boys. However, no parental interference will be tolerated.
- No shouting from the side lines.
- Parents are not allowed to walk onto the fields and pitches.
- No questioning of umpires or umpires decisions.
- Parents are not to sit with the boys during a game.
- Parents may not communicate with the boys during a game. Boys may see and talk to their parents before and after the game but not while the game is still in progress. Any urgent communication must talk place with the permission of the manager.
- Parents must not sit next to the scorers and communicate with the scorers.
- If a parent has any queries or questions, then the correct protocol must be followed. All queries should be brought to the attention of the KZN High Schools Cricket Committee.
